Amanda Sutton
Discipleship Ministry Assistant
Amanda has served at Cross Pointe since 2008. "I really enjoy working with people and every Sunday I get to meet and interact with many new faces," she says. "There are some really great volunteers that I work with and I enjoy serving with them as well. I enjoy reaching out to visitors, making them feel welcome and helping them find where they are going or giving them information about the church. The staff here at Cross Pointe is like my second family."
Amanda came to Christ at age 10. "I accepted Christ on February 26, 1989, in my home with my parents," Amanda explains. "I had been at a Sunday evening service at the church I grew up in and the pastor was talking about heaven. He had asked the question, 'If you died today, do you know for sure that you would go to heaven?' I realized at that time that I was not sure if I would go to heaven or not, but I wanted to be sure. Instead of going forward at church that evening, I waited and when I got home, I talked with my parents about it. They prayed with me and I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior.'"
Amanda and her husband, Brian, were married in 2009. "I am married to the most wonderful, sweet and Godly man who I am so thankful for. I have two very godly and loving parents and I married into a wonderful extended family."
