Update! Next Career Connect Meeting September 8
Our September 8 session is entirely dedicated to the need, issues and requirements of working with recruiters. Just when you though all avenues in their job searches have been exhausted, don’t forget about how recruiters can be instrumental in attaining success for your search.
We will begin at 6:45 in the Theatre of the Administration Building at Cross Pointe Church in Duluth with opening comments, introductions and a short devotion. At 7:00 p.m., our guest speaker, Kristina Champitto, a Senior Recruiter at 6 Degrees, will share her insight and engage the attendees in discussions on the need and utility of working with professional recruiters. Although her firm specializes in all levels of accounting and finance roles, her insight transcends all forms of careers and jobs.
The second hour will be reinforced with a professionally conceived and produced video learning module from the Crossroads Career organization that is used in over 160 churches nationally. The “Working with Recruiters” video will be an excellent complimentary presentation to Kristina’s live presentation.
At Career Connect we want to help you in your search for new employment, new careers, and obtaining the “tools” to get to the next level in your work life.
The purpose of Career Connect monthly interactive meetings is five-fold:
- Equip and encourage our members and neighbors in their searches for a new career or job
- By using the CCN’s six steps to you job search. Help identify your God given talents and calling to assist in your job search
- Provide a forum for subject matter experts to interact and address strategic and tactical issues, challenges and methods to employ
- Communicate job opportunities that may come in from church members and other sources
- Pray for the seekers and ask God to help govern appropriate activities and responses to the job and career search process.
