The Children's Ministry is part of Cross Pointe's Next Generation Ministries. It's our desire to support parents as they lead their children toward Christ, and help them build a strong spiritual foundation for the rest of their lives.
Inside/Out
Our Inside/Out small groups meet Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and are led by adult shepherds. Kids can build solid friendships in our small groups because we are intentional about being inclusive of every visiting child. We're intentional about keeping our small groups free of "cliques". Regular small group activities and outings bond our kids and ground them in God's Word. Kids deal with their spiritual questions in a safe environment and learn spiritual truths and principles that guide their lives well beyond these formative years. Attending small groups helps kids grow!
Kidz Time
Our Sunday 11:00 a.m. worship hour is called Kidz Time and takes place in the "Warehouse." This unique atmosphere makes Kidz Time a memorable, multi-sensory experience. Kidz Time consists of three main segments:
- praise and worship
- activity time challenges in the backyard
- shopping in the village
Every week there are opportunities for kids to earn "kidz kash". Things like Scripture memorization, bringing their Bible and bringing their friends earn kids fake dough they can spend on cool stuff in The Village. There are also movies in the Kidz Theater.
Kidz Time is the perfect time for your kids to bring visitors because we roll out the red carpet! Visiting kids participate in every aspect as our special guests. Whatever your past church experience, our desire is that Kidz K'nextion is the place kidz want to be!
Summer Time
Summer in the Children's Ministry is packed with great activities, including Kids Camp, "Rock the Block" neighborhood Bible clubs, wacky water days, lock-ins and more. Check our website's News area for details.
Mission Projects
We want our kids to learn how to serve others locally and globally just as Christ did. We set the example by planning mission opportunities, including opportunities to give to others and working in cooperation with Cross Pointe Mission trips.
