Renovation is nearing completion on our expanded chruch community center. This area of our campus will house an expanded Food Pantry and Clothes Closet--two vital ministries of our church that are currently ministering to hundreds of families each month. A recently purchased used truck provides transportation for supplies. We are planning to "wrap" the truck soon in graphics as you see in the photo below to promote this ministry to the community as we drive around town. A grand opening/dedication time for the community center will be held later this year.

Cross Pointe leadership announced that $1,966,201 has already been given toward our Rise to the Occasion goal. In addition to funding our community and missions activities, leaders also kept their promise to accelerate our debt reduction by making a substantial additional debt payment toward principal.
November 14 - December 5, 2010
Cross Pointe launches our missions emphasis, unveiling more than a dozen national and international short-term mission trips, as well as prayer information related to reaching the unreached locally and globally. Rise to the Occasion funds will help to underwrite some of these short-term mission projects next year.

The Rise to the Occasion emphasis begins, with Cross Pointe members and guests committing $5,778,228 toward the three-year campaign to eliminate debt and expand local and global ministry.
