Join the Cross Pointe Faith Family in reading the Bible through in one year. Subscribe below and we'll send you a monthly Bible reading calendar via email. Each day the calendar gives you four passages of Scripture to read:
- An Old Testament chapter
- A New Testament chapter
- A selection from the Psalms or Proverbs
In this way, your Bible readings will stay fresh as you look at a variety of passages each day and each week. You'll connect the Old and New Testaments, and find expressions of praise in the Psalms and great wisdom in the Proverbs. Please, join us and dig in to the Word this year!
What if I don't start at the beginning of the year?
This reading plan is a one-year cycle. You can join in any time as the cycle starts over each year. If you start in June, you'll end your read-through the following May. If you start in October, then you'll go through September, and so forth.
What if I miss a day or two?
Don't get discouraged! God's Word never returns void! Lightning will not rain down from Heaven if you commit to read and then miss a day. Release yourself from guilt or the feeling that you have to "catch up" and just enjoy and study the Scripture for today, regardless of where you are in the process.

What version of the Bible do you recommend?
We recommend a good study version of the Bible for your reading... one that is modern enough to be readable, but at the same time an accurate translation that will give you a true view of Scripture. Avoid paraphrased versions like "The Message" for your daily reading--it's a useful tool but not appropriate for daily study. Instead we recommend both the New International Version (NIV) and the English Standard Version (ESV). If you want a more literal translation (even more accurate, but not quite as readable), try the New American Standard Bible (NASB). Links to the Amazon.com product pages for these versions are below:
