2010 Budget
The 2010 Budget of $5,286,915.10 is about $100,000 less than the 2009 Budget. Staff leaders and our Finance Ministry Team, in light of challenging economic conditions, have judiciously and prayerfully elected to hold our budget to the same amount as the previous year. Further, we have proactively identified additional areas within the Proposed Budget to cut if the economic climate deteriorates.
Financial Lifeline
The Budget is the financial lifeline of our church. It is prayerfully planned each year by staff leaders with the input, consultation and approval of the Financial Ministry Team. Our Budget strategy as a church is, as much as possible, to allow for all expenditures within the Budget itself, versus fundraising efforts within each ministry area. In this way, our Budget reflects our mission and vision as a church, as well as the financial means to accomplish it.
Oversight
Always aware that the money we steward is not our own, our church holds to a strict approval policy for expenditures, including written purchase orders and all payments signed for by more than one person. Additionally, an independent annual audit ensures that contributors to the ministries of the church know that their gifts are spent wisely and ethically in every instance.
