Connections Ministry
This ministry area is charged with connecting newcomers to Cross Pointe, through activities like baptism for new believers, to Starting Pointe, our new member orientation class. Baptism Team
Volunteers are responsible for contacting people who are requesting baptism and scheduling their video testimony and baptism. Team members will also assist candidates during the baptism event by walking them through the process and helping them in and out of the water.

• When: During the week from home and on Sunday mornings when baptism is scheduled
• Training Offered: Yes
• Time Commitment: 3 to 4 hours per month
• Spiritual Gifts Utilized: Serving, Encouragement and Giving

Starting Pointe Table Host
Volunteers will host a table during our Starting Pointe class for new members. Responsibilities include answering questions about our church and encouraging people to get connected. An outgoing personality and knowledge of the membership process is a must.

• When: 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., one Sunday evening, every other month.
• Training Offered: Yes
• Time Commitment: 3 hours every other month
• Spiritual Gifts Utilized: Administration, Encouragement and Discernment
